About the Scheme

The Old Age Pension Scheme is implemented by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Purvanchal, under the State Social Assistance Programme.

Eligibility: residents of Purvanchal aged 60 years or above on the date they apply. One application per eligible citizen. Applications are processed within 15 days as per the Purvanchal Right to Public Services Act; applications not processed within the statutory period stand approved (deemed approval).
